The engine light was blinking. Took it to a nearby shop instead of Automasters because it was closer and I didn't want to drive it. After a quickie 5 minute evaluation on the machine, we received an estimate of over $725 to replace a coil and also replace spark plugs etc. Decided anyway to get a second opinion from Automasters before doing such a large repair. AM found that the #6 was just unplugged and had jiggled loose. They plugged it back in. Also said that the spark plugs, while it's good to do them and I will want to keep up with maintenance, weren't problematic and didn't need to be replaced right now. He did suggest another related repair which we are still considering, we may wait since this car will be driven less than the other and mostly close to home. I have had a lot of work done at AM on two different cars and they have always been great, very clear and upfront on what needs to be done and what is regular maintenance or lower priority. One time when there was an issue on something, they stood behind it 100% and it is good to have confidence that you are dealing with a shop that has your back. I highly recommend this shop, they are knowledgeable and trustworthy.
Thank you so much for the great review! We stand by our repairs 100%
